Reflections

Experience:
Week 14: I was not really sure what to do at first, but as I look at the billboards closely, I found that there were quite a few fashion ones. I decided to draw a girl posing like a model.
Week 15: I love using watercolor, but almost all the rest of my assignments have been digital lately, so it was nice to go back to my comfort zone.

Observations:
Week 14: There were also some TV show billboards and several others. I was not exactly sure on what inspiration to get from those.
Week 15: I was not able to take photos of the process. Basically what I did was layer the colors several times with watercolor, and the background was done with copic markers.

Findings:
Week 14: I found that many billboards recently are videos rather than a static poster.
Week 15: I was constantly using a swatch paper to check if the colors come out correctly. I also found that the paper I used was not quite suited for watercolor at first, so I did my work on another, more suitable paper.
