Reflections
Week 3:
I was struggling to go through with the five works Mr Kannan asked of
us. I was not sure what kind of style I was going for so some ended up
looking like vector, while others looked more painterly. I was also
struggling to keep proper proportions and perspective with most of them.
Overall everything looked inconsistent and needless to say I wasn't
satisfied with them.
Week 4:
For this week, we are to touch up on three of the five paintings we did
last week. I wasn't able to do the interior painting last week, so I
worked on it this week. Mr Kannan told me during class that if I were to
proceed with this interior painting, it would be hard for me since it
is very detailed. For now I am debating whether or not to redo this
particular painting.
Week 5:
I tried to touch up on three paintings however I redid my interior
painting. I have chosen the mountain painting, shophouse painting and
the redid interior painting. My first interior painting was scrapped
because I feel like it would be too detailed for me to finish in time.
However that means my second interior painting will be several steps
behind and I would need to catch up.
